Tea for Two (Wednesday, December 28, 1- 4 pm): Holiday fun for girls. Games and prizes.

 
Lego Fun (Thursday, December 29, 1 - 4 pm): Parents drop off the kids while you do Boxing Week shopping. Lego competition, bring a premade Lego project for a contest entry and build something else the day for another prize. Snacks and drinks provided. - $5 in advance, $7 at the door. Pre-registration at the museum preferred.

Movie Afternoon at the Museum (Friday, December 30, 1:30 - 4 pm): Screening of ‘Shop Around the Corner’

Transport yourself to Christmas 1940 in a Department store very much like Wetaskiwin’s Montgomery Star Department Store where the Heritage Museum calls home.

Experience the ambiance and the people who worked in these local stores, and how they operated a store just like The Star in a first-rate romantic comedy with the biggest stars that Hollywood had to offer at the time, James Stewart and Margaret Sullivan.

To kick-off our 2012 Year of Entertainment, come for an entertaining afternoon in the historic building while we experience an old-time Christmas, with popcorn and good company.
